THE BIG FREEZE!
We hope you are well and staying safe.
With less than 30 days to Christmas, we would like to advise you on when the Freeze 2020-21 will take place and how it will affect you.
WHAT IS THE FREEZE?
Invosys Business suppliers impose an operational ‘Freeze’ to protect customers during the busy seasonal period.
The Freeze restricts any non-essential activity on the network. This means that our suppliers will place a hold on Number Provisioning, Network Porting and Network Changes to existing Invosys Business services, during this period.
WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES OF THE FREEZE?
The reason for the Freeze is to ensure that our customers can deliver their services at the busiest time of year with confidence. It also minimizes the risk of network instability at a critical time.
WHEN DOES THE FREEZE TAKE PLACE?
The Freeze will run from 17:00 on Friday 11th December 2020 and ends at 09:00 on Monday 4th January 2021.
We therefore require all orders to be submitted to Invosys Business by 17:00 on Wednesday 9th December 2020 so that we can ensure to get all orders to our suppliers before the Freeze begins.
HOW DOES THE FREEZE IMPACT ME?
You can rest assured that no non-essential work will take place on the network that could affect the stability of your services. All services running on the Invosys Business supplied platforms, such as Number Manager, will be available as usual.
All existing orders placed prior to the Freeze will continue as normal, however,Invosys Business will not be able to submit new number orders or place any new port & migration orders to our network suppliers during this period.
For any hardware orders please be aware that delivery times may be delayed due to the festive period.
Please make sure you are prepared in advance of the Freeze to ensure your business continuity over the Christmas season.
Please contact us to discuss any Christmas greetings you may want to add to your services.
